NOSEBAND This bridle could be called a development on a regular cavesson noseband. A traditional cavesson noseband is often difficult to adjust, which can make it lie too close to the bit or press on the airways, and the side pieces can also have a tendency to slide up over the eyes. We have solved this by placing the noseband higher up on the nasal bone, which removes pressure from the airways and eliminates pressure around the bit. Another important detail is that the pressure on the skeletal structure is reduced because the nasal bone becomes thinner further down. By eliminating pressure here, the risk of future injuries is minimized and a more comfortable fit is achieved. The noseband also has a built-in cushion that provides extra stability, perfect for the younger horse. The Pioneer noseband is also adjustable and can be tightened at three different heights, making it very adaptable. The options minimize the risk of the bit becoming locked. At the same time, the sensitive nerve endings are completely free from pressure and strain. The rider can choose between an anatomical, more classically English noseband, an anatomical training noseband, or a combination of the two.
HEADPIECE The area around the horse's neck behind the ears is a very sensitive area with many nerves and ligaments. To relieve pressure from the bridle, we have developed a headpiece that is extra wide. The headpiece also has a cut-out at the top, which distributes pressure evenly and does not concentrate it in one spot. The headpiece is also cut to make room for the horse's ears, all to provide the highest possible comfort.
CHEEKPIECES Our cheek pieces are specially designed to reduce pressure on the neck through our elastic CradlesTM. A "cradles" is an extra elastic band that the bit should rest on. The elastic band is attached to the cheek pieces at the bit and also on our reins. The idea is that they should act elastically and provide a higher degree of comfort for the horse, allowing the bit to "spring." This should relieve the teeth and jaws from static pressure. Many believe that horses prefer this type of bridle and that it can be more gentle and horse-friendly than regular bridles and reins. The seams on this bridle are rounded and have optional "cradles", which allows you to easily detach the "cradles" when entering the dressage arena. BROWBAND The browband is U-shaped to prevent pressure on the horse's forehead and eye sockets. Today, all our browbands are equipped with a rubber-coated inside, called "anti-slip," which is designed to keep the browband in place and prevent it from slipping down. As if that were not enough, we also have our beloved Click-ItTM function, which allows you to easily remove and replace the browband as needed, even when the horse is wearing the bridle.
COMPETITION The bridle is approved for competition in all disciplines in Sweden and within the FEI. Remember to buy a throatlatch and attach it to your browband, and make sure to detach the vaggas during dressage competitions. Recommended for horses that: Are young or inexperienced Need extra support and stability Are sensitive to pressure
no reins included
Condition: Great. Light Use
