Trust Sweet Iron Baby Pelham Brass Ring Bit
Trust Sweet Iron Baby Pelham Brass Ring Bit
Description
The Sweet Iron Baby Pelham is a bit by Trust which consists of pelham sides and a double-broken mouthpiece with brass rings. The brass rings are located in the middle of the mouthpiece and encourage the horse to play with the bit, so that the tongue activity is increased and the jaws can relax more. In addition, the special alloy naturally stimulates the flow of saliva, as sweet-tasting surface rust develops on contact with moisture. The Pelham side pieces can be used with one or two reins, depending on your preference, and combine the action of a double bridle and a normal snaffle. When used with only one rein, pelham straps are necessary to connect the bit rings to the rings of the thighs. These straps are not included and must be purchased separately.
Note: When not in use a thin orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
Properties
double broken
Sweet Iron coating
brass rings in the middle
shanks: 4,0 cm
**Due to the contagious nature of the equine disease EHV 1 and per biosecurity measure guidelines suggested by the American Association of Equine Practitioners, 2nd Round Equestrian will no longer accept any returns on NEW bits and bit accessories.**
