Trust Sweet Iron Beval Brass Ring Bit - 16mm

$145.00

Trust Sweet Iron Beval Brass Ring Bit - 16mm

Description

This bit offers more control than plain snaffle rings. The reins can be attached to a definite part of the bit to aid in establishing a correct outline, head carriage and responsiveness to the rein signals.

Sweet Iron - will rust when in contact with humidity (air). The surface rust tastes sweet and naturally simulates the salvation production. This will cause the hors to salivate more which will encourage the horse to take more contact.

The process of rusting (oxidisation) changes the blue colour of the Trust bit to a brownish - grey. A sweet iron bit will develop an orange-brow rust layer on the mouthpiece if it is temporarily not used. This is easily removed by wiping it off with a damp cloth.

**Due to the contagious nature of the equine disease EHV 1 and per biosecurity measure guidelines suggested by the American Association of Equine Practitioners, 2nd Round Equestrian will no longer accept any returns on NEW bits and bit accessories.**
